On behalf of the Board and Staff of BUILD, I welcome you to our website. 'Warm Up Winnipeg' is a program delivered by Building Urban Industries for Local Development (BUILD). We strive to make housing more affordable and environmentally friendly by lowering energy and water bills. We are also a training program - we hire workers who are interested in gaining family supporting jobs in the construction sector.
Please consider us partners and friends whether you are a low income household or an agency providing services to Winnipeg's low income community.
If you interested in lowering your utility bills and you are low income, please call us. If you are not low income, please contact the Manitoba Green Retrofit Inc at 999-2188.
We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the generous support of the Government of Manitoba (Manitoba Housing Authority, Science Technology Energy and Mines; and Competitiveness Training and Trade). We are also very appreciative of Manitoba Hydro for their Lower Income Program. Together we're Warming Up Winnipeg!
